February 3, 2021 – Muncie, IN
Muncie Sports Commission, Executive Director, Jon Anderson today announced a strategic partnership between Ball State Athletics and Muncie Sports Commission.
With all three NCAA divisions conducting men’s basketball championships in the state of Indiana, March Madness is taking on a unique look and feel in 2021. Creating that unique opportunity is the challenges everyone is facing with the impact of Covid-19. Enter #MaskMadness.
Wearing a face mask is one of the simplest, most effective ways to slow the virus’s spread. Wearing a mask provides some protection to you and protects those around you in case you are unknowingly infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. That’s why we need all Hoosiers to do their part to help slow the spread. We’re asking each of you to mask up — and speak up about how wearing your mask can save lives.
As part of this important program, the NCAA is donating 100,000 masks to Hoosiers who are in need. Visit the Final Four page (NCAA.com/Final-Four) to see where to pick up your own March Madness mask including several Muncie locations – and post why you mask up with the hashtag #MaskMadness.
